AI

AI that shows its work, and stops where it should.

In FundAgent, agents read, draft and answer with the passage they rely on, inside limits enforced by the server, and only when their measured quality allows it. People keep the decisions.

Reads and quotes

Every value it proposes comes with its quotation.

Drop in an invoice e-mail or a PDF. The documents agent proposes the fields it finds (supplier, amount, dates, IBAN), and each one must appear, word for word, in the quoted passage of the source.

  • Originals first

The e-mail and its attachments are kept as received, encrypted, with their hashes. Nothing in a message is executed or fetched.

  • Read locally

Native PDFs, scans and images are read on your servers, including OCR. What cannot be read is sent to a person, not guessed.

  • Checked again at approval

Quotations are re-verified when a person approves; an IBAN must pass its checksum; duplicates are refused.

Answers with sources

Ask the fund a question. Get figures you can open.

The copilot answers from the books, not from memory. Every figure it gives is a link to its proof, and it says what it does not know instead of filling the gap.

Copilot · Aurora Growth Fund IIDemo data

What is in fees and expenses this year?

Fees and expenses amount to : three quarterly management fees totalling −€1,440,318.07, and one Orion Advisory invoice of −€12,500.00 posted on 29 October.

  • FEE Q1 2026
  • FEE Q2 2026
  • FEE Q3 2026
  • OAD-2026-1042.pdf

Every figure in the answer comes from the ledger and opens its proof. The copilot reads; it does not post.

Bounded by design

What the AI never does.

These limits are enforced by the server, whatever the model, the prompt or the document says.

  • Post an entry

Agents are read-only by policy. Drafts enter the same four-eyes workflow as any person’s.

  • Approve anything

Not someone else’s work, and not its own proposal.

  • Send or pay

No letter, report, e-mail or payment leaves FundAgent because an agent decided it.

  • Publish an unverified number

A figure without a verified source is shown as missing, never as a value.

  • Fill a gap with a guess

A missing field stays missing; an unreadable page goes to a person.

Measured

Quality is measured before it is trusted.

The active model is graded on a fixed bench: cited answers, invoice fields, LPA terms, bank matching, drafting, refusals, and documents written to manipulate it, such as an invoice carrying a fake IBAN.

  • A gate, not a dashboard

Only a complete run of the current bench counts. Below the threshold, the model may not prepare drafts at all.

  • The latest result decides

A newer, worse measurement closes a gate an older one opened. Changing the bench retires older measurements.

  • Visible to you

Results by category, latency and the model measured are kept in Agents and routines.

Your choice

Your model, your data.

  • A local model

Runs on your own infrastructure; documents never leave it.

  • Or a hosted model

Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenRouter, with your own keys.

  • Your data policy decides

Nothing goes to a hosted model unless your own data policy allows it; the same bench and the same gate apply whichever model is active.

  • Failures stay visible

When a model is unavailable or wrong, the error is shown; nothing silently falls back to a rule pretending to be AI.

Routines

Recurring work, prepared on its trigger and left for review.

  • Reconcile bank imports

Proposes matches for new movements, without settling anything.

  • Read received documents

Extracts the key fields of each new document, with exact quotations.

  • Follow up due KPIs

Prepares collection requests for portfolio KPIs that have fallen due, for approval.

  • Weekly closing pre-check

Lists what would block the next period close.

  • Monthly portfolio watch

Flags stale valuations and conflicting sources.

See your figures proved.

In a demo, we trace a NAV to its source documents, prepare a quarter close and show the controls at work, with your questions and at your pace.
